Dale Coyne with Rick Ware Racing’s Romain Grosjean will be well prepared for his NTT IndyCar Series race debut at Barber Motorsports Park on April 18.
Speaking to the media during a conference call last week to announce his move from Formula One to IndyCar, the Frenchman said that he has spent countless hours at home on his simulator getting up to speed with the tracks that he will compete on with the Honda powered Dale Coyne Racing team this season.
Olivier Boisson will serve as Grosjean’s lead race engineer which will help the Frenchman get up to speed as Boisson is also from France so they will be able to converse in French.
Grosjean has confirmed that he has already had email and WhatsApp communication with the team and will fly out to the United States on 15th February ahead of his first test in the IndyCar.
