ITV have confirmed this evening that controversial host and former newspaper editor Piers Morgan has left Good Morning Britain.
The news comes after Morgan criticised the Duchess of Sussex following her and Prince Harry’s interview with TV host Oprah Winfrey.
Morgan stormed off Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning after being criticised by his co-host. In a statement released by ITV on Tuesday evening they said:
Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.”ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.
