BBC Radio One DJ Annie Mac announced on Tuesday, that after 17 years with the station she will leave her show with her final show taking place on Friday July 30th.

Mac says that she wants to spend more time with her kids and work on podcasts.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday morning, Mac said:

It’s time to tell you, my listeners, that after 17 years, my last show on @BBCR1 will take place on 30 July 2021. pic.twitter.com/Uy5KU6nHSF
