Full Capacity Crowd Premature

Seven-time British Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton says he feels it is a little premature for there to be a capacity crowd at the Silverstone circuit for next months British Grand Prix.

It was announced on Thursday that the British Grand Prix will go ahead with a crowd of 140,000 on the weekend of July 16.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s race in Austria, Hamilton said that he is worried for the people attending the race given the increasing numbers of the COVID-19 varrient.

Hamilton said that while he is happy to see the crowd return he feels it is too early.
