The End Of An Era With The WRC

The ACI Rally Monza brought the curtain down on the current era of World Rally Championship car in style with Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Sebastien Ogier securing his eighth championship victory coming home ahead of his teammate Elfyn Evans.

In a hotly contested season-long battle, Toyota came out on top ahead of Hyundai Motorsports and the M-Sport Ford WRC Team.

The 2022 FIA World Rally Championship season gets underway in just a matter of weeks with Rally Monte Carlo which takes place from January 20-23.

The new season brings with it a new era for the FIA World Rally Championship with the introduction of their new Rally1 Hybrid car.

M-Sport Ford have a new driver with Ireland’s Craig Breen returning to full-time competition in the Puma Rally1 car alongside Gus Greensmith.

The new era of rally car sounds absolutely incredible and M-Sport, Toyota and Hyundai have been flatout getting ready for next season.
