F1 Community Comes Together To Pay Tribute To Sir Frank Williams

The world of Formula Ine came together on Sunday to pay tribute to legendary team owner Sir Frank Williams who died at the age of 79 on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, seven-time Formula One world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton commented saying:

Sir Frank Williams was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of meeting in this sport. What he achieved is something truly special. Until his last days I know he remained a racer and a fighter at heart. His legacy will live on forever. pic.twitter.com/NDIwIvzZCl

IndyCar and Formula One legend Mario Andretti said:

Sir Frank was a remarkable man, fiercely determined and competitive, tirelessly overcoming any number of very significant challenges, a pure racer to the end. And proudly British. The Ferrari Formula One Team who enjoyed many on track battles for world championships with Williams non more memorable than 1997 between Jacques Villeneuve and Michael Schumacher tweeted:
