Hyundai Motorsports Thierry Neuville and co-driver Martijn Wydaegha have been released from hospital after a crash during testing of the new i20 Rally1 car in France on Saturday.

Hyundai Motorsports tweeted:

⚠️ Test update: @thierryneuville and @MWydaeghe went off the road while testing the i20 N Rally1 today. Crew is safe and parademics arrived on site quickly to treat Martijn's shoulder injury. The crew is on their way to the hospital for further evaluation. #HMSGOfficial
