The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team has officially lodged a protest of the results of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday which saw Max Verstappen win the championship.

Four lapped cars unlapped themselves which allowed Max Verstappen go into the final lap in second place on fresher tyres and allowing him to overtake Lewis Hamilton and win the championship.
