Mohammed Ben Sulayem Elected FIA President

The FIA has a new president after Mohammed Ben Sulayem was elected president on Friday morning and replaces Jean Todt who presented Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen with his Formula One Drivers Championship trophy on Thursday evening in Paris.

Sulayem played an instrumental in bringing the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to Formula One and speaking about his election to FIA President he said:
