Long Beach City Council Approves The Running Of The Acura Grand Prix Through To 2028

Long Beach City Council unanimously approved an extension to their agreement to run the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on the NTT IndyCar Series schedule through to the end of 2028.

The new agreement which begins this year, sees the continuation of their 46 year partnership.

Jim Michaelian, Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President and CEO commented on the announcement saying:

The Grand Prix extension that has been approved by the City Council is the result of extensive discussions with City leadership that we believe has resulted in benefits to all parties concerned. “The Grand Prix has always been a very strong community event and this agreement just amplifies the unique relationship with the City of Long Beach going forward. Our thanks to all those who assisted in getting this done.
