Kevin Magnussen who competed in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2021 joined the Team’s IndyCar team on Monday at Sebring International Raceway.
The ex-F1 driver who subbed for Felix Rosenqvist at Arrow McLaren SP at Road America last season was driving the No.10 NTT DATA as testing got underway ahead of the start of the new IndyCar season next weekend with the Firestone Grand Prix presented by RP Funding.
Ganassi are using it as an evaluation test. Defending Series champion Alex Palou will be back in the car on Tuesday.
