Defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Alex Palou says that it felt so good to be back in the car on Friday as practice got underway for Sunday’s 2022 season-opening Firestone Grand Prix presented by RP Funding.

Palou ended the day in 17th place with a time of 01:01.7267s and taking to Twitter on Saturday morning he said:

Felt so good to be back in the car yesterday! Another practice session and qualifying today. LET’S GO! 👊@IndyCar @NTTDATAServices pic.twitter.com/iQy1UxrQu9
