The Haas F1 Team’s Nikita Mazepin has been banned from competing in the 2022 British Grand Prix after Motorsport UK announced on Wednesday that all Russian and Belarusian licence holders are to be banned from competing on UK soil.

The news comes despite the FIA confirming on Tuesday that Nikita Mazepin can create in Formula One under a neutral flag should the Haas F1 Team retain him.
