Fox Replace Dr. Hibbert Simpsons Actor

Fox Broadcasting, the parent company of hit animated tv show The Simpsons which is now owned by Disney confirmed on Monday that Dr. Julius Hibbert, the longtime resident doctor at Springfield General Hospital who has been voiced by Harry Shearer for 31 years has been recast.

This Sunday’s brand new episode of The Simpsons which airs in the U.S and Canada will see Kevin Michael Richardson take on the role of Dr.Hibbert.

The news of the recast comes following the recent controversy surrounding animated shows who portrayed African American characters and Asian characters with white actors.

The Simpsons announced last year, that after 30 years, the character of Apu, had been written out of the show.

Shearer 77, will continue to voice Monty Burns, Mr. Smithers, Ned Flanders, Reverend Timothy Lovejoy and various other characters on the show.

Manchester United Hit With COVID-19 Outbreak Ahead Of Newcastle Match

Manchester United Football Club announced on Sunday morning that the team have had to make changes to their matchday coaching staff ahead of Sunday’s game with Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

In a statement released on Sunday the team said:

Nicky Butt and Mark Dempsey will join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the bench this evening due to some of the coaching staff having to self isolate.

The home Premier League game against Newcastle United at Old Trafford will kick off at 19:00 GMT.

Grosjean Will Be Well Prepared For IndyCar Race Debut

Dale Coyne with Rick Ware Racing’s Romain Grosjean will be well prepared for his NTT IndyCar Series race debut at Barber Motorsports Park on April 18.

Speaking to the media during a conference call last week to announce his move from Formula One to IndyCar, the Frenchman said that he has spent countless hours at home on his simulator getting up to speed with the tracks that he will compete on with the Honda powered Dale Coyne Racing team this season.

Olivier Boisson will serve as Grosjean’s lead race engineer which will help the Frenchman get up to speed as Boisson is also from France so they will be able to converse in French.

Grosjean has confirmed that he has already had email and WhatsApp communication with the team and will fly out to the United States on 15th February ahead of his first test in the IndyCar.

Grosjean Excited About The Next Chapter In His Career

Former Formula One driver Romain Grosjean says he is excited about starting the next chapter in his racing career. It was announced last week that the Frenchman will join Dale Coyne Racing with Rick Ware Racing for all the road and street course IndyCar Series races in 2021.

Speaking following the announcement, Grosjean who spent nine years in Formula One commented saying:

“I’m very excited for this opportunity to race in the United States in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. “I had different options in front of me for this coming season and choosing to go IndyCar Racing was definitively my favorite one. Although, I’m not ready yet to take on the ovals! IndyCar has a much more level playing field than what I have been used to in my career so far. It will be exciting to challenge for podiums and wins again.  My left hand is still healing, but we are just about ready to get back into the race car and to start this next chapter of my career.”

Romain Grosjean on joining the NTT IndyCar Series for 2021

Grosjean joins Ed Jones at Dale Coyne Racing as Jones returns to the sport following a year away from the sport.

Romain Grosjean will get his first opportunity to get behind the wheel of an IndyCar when he tests for Dale Coyne Racing on Monday 22nd February at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

Grosjean joins fellow Formula One alumni, Takuma Sato, (defending Indianapolis 500 winner), 2016 Indianapoils 500 winner, Alexander Rossi, Marcus Ericsson and Max Chilton in IndyCar.

The 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season gets underway on Sunday 18th April at Barber Motorsports Park with the IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama.

Neesha, The Golden Retriever Found In The Wicklow Mountains After Being Missing For Two Weeks

Neesha, the golden retriever was rescued from the Wicklow Mountains over the weekend by a couple who were hiking on Saturday during what were described a tricky conditions.

Neesha, who had been missing for two weeks was described by Jean Francois Bonnett as being petrified and unable to walk. Speaking to East Coast FM’s The Morning Show on Monday he said:

It was a very bad day. It was cold, snowy, windy and the visibility wasn’t great. We were almost at the top when my girlfriend Ciara screamed ‘there is a dog, there is a dog’, and the poor thing was curled up against a rock. She was petrified, freezing cold. She didn’t have the energy to bark or stand,

Jean Francois Bonnett Speaking to Declan Meehan on East Coast FM’s The Morning Show

Jean Francois and his girlfriend Ciara carried Neesha down Lugnaquilla on Saturday and gave her some food and warmed her up by their fire at home before reuniting her with her relieved family.

Wolff Explains Reasoning Behind One Year Hamilton Contract Extension

Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Principal and CEO Toto Wolff has explained that the Silver Arrows want to see where the world is at following the conclusion of the 2021 Formula One season before committing to a longer term contract with Lewis Hamilton.

The Mercedes team announced on Monday, following months of speculation that seven time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has signed a one year contract extension with the Brackley based outfit.

Speaking to the media on Monday following the announcement, Wolff revealed that the one year contract was agreed upon by both the team and the driver and they will assess the situation further during the 2021 season.

Hamilton, who joined Mercedes from McLaren in 2013 will once again drive alongside Finland’s Valtteri Bottas.

Music City Grand Prix Track Construction Gets Underway In Nashville

The construction of the Music City Grand Prix venue in Nashville, Tennessee officially began on Friday as the U.S city prepares to host its first NTT IndyCar Series street race later this year.

The inaugural Music City Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from August 6-8 and features bridge crossing which the IndyCar Series has not had in recent memory on any of its tracks.

The three day festival around the race promises to be full of music, food and of course all of the excitement that comes with an IndyCar Series race.

Gasly Tests Positive For COVID-19

Scuderia Alpha Tauri Formula One team driver Pierre Gasly has become the latest Grand Prix driver to test positive for COVID 19. The Frenchman is latest in a list of Grand Prix drivers to have tested positive for Coronavirus.

Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team’s Lance Stroll, Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and McLaren’s Lando Norris have all tested positive for COVID 19 in recent weeks and months.

Rossi And Castroneves Delighted With Rolex 24 Hours Win

Wayne Taylor Racing’s Helio Castroneves and Alexander Rossi who claimed their first Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona wins on Sunday says that the victory gives them plenty of momentum as the gear up for the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season which gets underway at Barber Motorsports Park on April 18.

Speaking following the race, Rossi said that being able to race at the moment under the current circumstances is extremely beneficial and gives him an edge over his fellow IndyCar Series competitors with the exception of Scott Dixon who was in the race as well this weekend.

Rossi said it is definitely an advantage and a phenomenal way to start the season, The 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner won’t have much time to celebrate his win as he confirmed he will head to Sebring tonight to test his IndyCar ahead of the start of the new season.

Rossi also said that this win is one of the special ones saying that it is right up there with his Indianapolis 500 win. Helio Castroneves says that a win is a great way to start and the three time Indianapolis 500 winner says that the start of the 2021 season is a new chapter in his career that he is very excited about.
