IndyCar Heads To Sebring Ahead Of St Pete Opener

The NTT IndyCar Series teams will head to Sebring International Raceway next week for two days of testing ahead of the 2022 season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which takes place from February 25-27.

All full-time drivers will be in action during Monday and Tuesday’s test.

Andretti Autosport will have all four of their drivers, Colton Herta, Alexander Rossi, Romain Grosjean and rookie Devlin DeFrancesco in action.

Meyer Shank Racing’s Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves will be at the test.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s defending series champion Alex Palou, six-time champion Scott Dixon, Marcus Ericsson and new full-time driver Jimmie Johnson will be action for the team.

AJ Foyt Racing’s new signings, Tatiana Calderon and Kyle Kirkword will join Dalton Kellett at the test as they get up to speed with the series ahead of the race debuts in St Pete.

Arrow McLaren SP who launched their new liveries on Friday will have Pato O’Ward and Felix Rosenqvist in action.

Ed Carpenter Racing’s two full-time drivers, Conor Daly and Rinus VeeKay will be action.

Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Callum Ilott will be action.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing who expanded to a three car programme over the winter will have Graham Rahal, Christian Lundgaard and Jack Harvey in action.

Dale Coyne Racing’s Takuma Sato and David Malukas will be on track as will Josef Newgarden, Scott McLaughlin and Will Power on Team Penske.
